Matyas

I am a researcher at UCL completing a PhD in biology. Education and public engagement is important to me as demonstrated by a commitment to teaching at the Royal Institution and UCL where I worked with students of various ages to expand their understanding and appreciation of the scientific method and discoveries.

Tutoring Experience

Before tutoring I taught masterclasses at the Royal Institution, trained students at UCL and King's College London and taught at a Biosciences Summer Camp for Sixth Form students.

Tutoring Approach

My approach is to guide the student in their own process of discovery and entice them with finding what is interesting about the topic to them and what they can relate to. I can also provide advice on exam preparation and writing strategies.
