Hi, I’m Megan, a friendly and enthusiastic character. I’m currently in my 3rd year of studying Postgraduate Medicine at the University of Warwick, with a previous First Class Degree in Biochemistry at the University of Bristol. I’ve loved my degrees and continue to find science fascinating. Having grown up babysitting and enjoy working with children, I thought that tutoring would be a fantastic opportunity to combine the two. Being a sporty and sociable individual I understand the struggle of balancing the many exciting things in life with academia.
Over the years I have been tutoring younger children within my village but hope to extend this further and coaching hockey at several clubs. I am capable of breaking down complex matters and explaining them, trying different approaches to ensure concepts are grasped. Ultimately, while I don’t have as much experience as others, I am very keen to do all I can to help give others the opportunities I’ve had.
I understand everyone has different ways they learn best and I am quick to adapt to how best suits an individual. For example, I create printable pairing cards to learn definitions for visual learners or use online flash cards for those that are constantly on the go.
I’m equally happy to work through past papers and any subject difficulties that may have arisen since the previous session.
