I have a Master of Arts (hons) degree in Primary Education from the University of Edinburgh. I’m passionate about helping others achieve their goals! Fully qualified primary teacher with 6 years experience in the classroom and 8 years tutoring experience.
During my time at university, I have dealt with students with a range of ages, abilities and backgrounds. I have completed a semester of teaching mathematics at university which has provided me with a host of new teaching methods and concepts. I also tutored several high school pupils from 1st to 4th year during this time. Having completed my probation year in 2018/19, I am now a fully registered primary school teacher in my 6th year of teaching which I believe gives me invaluable experience. I am only offering tutoring up to National 4/Nat 5 application of maths
I am extremely patient and will work hard with the student to aid with problem solving techniques that will lead to them being able to complete questions independently. I believe that I can often provide an alternative method to certain topics to assist in the students understanding. I believe that through my university course I have developed a great teaching style which I can adapt easily for any student.
