Hi, my name is Michael. I am a friendly, patient and determined tutor. I completed my A-levels in Biology, Chemistry, Maths and Further Maths in 2023. I believe that this experience puts me in a great position to share my knowledge to help other students because I know what is needed in order to excel in these subjects.

I have over a year of online tutoring experience on various platforms and also have experience teaching other students from school and university.

Tutoring Approach

I always like to focus on what you as a student need help with to ensure that you get the most out of every lesson, and spend as much time making progress as possible

I would describe myself as methodical and systematic and I think my teaching style reflects this. First, I like to ensure that there is an understanding of the key principles of the topic. Then I like to break questions down and look at the key steps in the method for that question type. I think that repetition is extremely important and the key to mastering a particular topic is encountering as many different variations of questions as possible. So this is what I will encourage.
