CV IMPROVEMENT AND JOB TRAINING
Patience, encouragement and firmness.
First and foremost, results - what are we trying to get to? What's the deadline? What does the pupil need to improve?
So we know what to work on, I will always have pupils show me what they know (from spelling through to what goes on in a play or who characters are) before I create a lesson plan in my head.
After this, I believe students should be supported as they put the extra work in to achieve their goals. I get on well with my pupils and they like to please me and they try their best. And in exchange I give them my patience and attention as we try to improve their skills in various areas.
As far as possible, I use past papers and regular tests which I mark as in the real exam.
I've got a good sense of humour which I can use to inject a bit of fun when pupils are tired.
My creativity helps me tackle questions that the pupil is having trouble grasping.
