I offer English Literature, Language and Sociology support to students from years 7 - 13, preparing them for exams and helping them achieve their full potential with coursework assignments

I have experience of supporting students with SEN requirements including ASD and ADHD, taking a strengths based approach to learning.

I have a background in Copywriting and Occupational Therapy, and currently work as a Creative Facilitator.

Tutoring Experience

I studied English Literature at University and following graduation worked in publishing, marketing and copywriting for over 10 years. Following this I moved into Education and Health, working in the NHS and privately as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.

I have tutored young people and adults in English with an emphasis on Literature and English as a foreign language, and enjoy seeing learners grow in confidence and pride as they develop their skills.

Tutoring Approach

I am happy to meet/speak with prospective learners and their parents prior to commencing tuition, giving the opportunity to decide whether the support I can offer would be suitable.

Through a tailored and individually devised approach, I am better able to support your child in achieving their academic English language goals - raising their confidence in tackling academic challenges while at school and placing them in a strong position in terms of future academic performance.
