Friendly, approachable, and supportive, I am a Cambridge PhD student in Mathematical Genomics with a First-Class Mathematics degree from Warwick and twelve years of private tutoring experience. I believe every student can excel in mathematics with personalised guidance and coaching.

Tutoring Experience

I have 12 years' experience as a private Maths tutor and tailor my lessons to each student's needs and goals. Please see my qualifications below

• Current PhD in Mathematical Genomics at the University of Cambridge
• First-class Mathematics degree from the University of Warwick
• 6 months' work as Mathematics assistant at Rugby High School
• Four A*s at A-level (Maths, Further Maths, Biology and Chemistry)

Tutoring Approach

My lessons are typically 60 minutes long and I offer them either online or in person around Cambridge. I adapt my lessons to each student's learning style and pace. Whether that is mastering a challenging topic or honing exam technique. I teach students how to derive key equations from first principles so they can rely less on memorisation. I also work with gifted students to stretch their mathematical abilities. Lessons within a 5-mile radius from my home in Comberton are included, beyond that I add an additional surcharge for travel.
