I am 20 years old, and am currently studying French and Business at the University of Leeds. I am passionate about languages and want to help ensure that they continue to be loved by students.

Tutoring Experience

I tutored a French girl a couple of years ago to prepare for an English exam for a school she wanted to go to. Through this role I had to speak a lot of French to her since she was not proficient in English, but by the end of the sessions she was a lot more confident in her speaking and passed the exam. I also have a lot of experience working with children through babysitting.

Tutoring Approach

I would take a structured approach in terms of having lessons well prepared and planned, however if something comes up that is either interesting or the student is struggling with I fell that I would be capable of discussing this further within the lesson if they feel like it would help them. I would also make the lessons very interactive and fun, particularly with educational games and books that we could go through together.
