I am professional in teaching and I have worked as an Assistant Lecturer at university, teaching undergraduate students for several years (>5 years). Will help you understand, enjoy and achieve.
I’m a qualified Pharmacist from UCL (University College London) in London with the MPharm degree (First class Honours and ranked 1st), MSc in Clinical pharmacy (Distinction) from QUB (Queen’s University Belfast), and PhD in Cardiovascular Medical Research from KCL (King’s College London) in London.
In my career, I was awarded numerous awards for scientific and academic excellence including the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain Prize for the best overall performance in the MPharm degree.
I’m flexible in my schedule e.g. can teach in the afternoon and evening or night, since this is when some students often have more time, but also sometimes on certain weekdays. I teach via webcam.
I am experienced in teaching at University for more than 5 years. I teach physiology, pathophysiology, pharmacology, immunology, medical pharmacology, clinical pharmacy (pharmacotherapy), pharmaceutical calculations, and other related subjects such as cell biology and molecular biology, etc.
I have worked as an Assistant Lecturer at University, often with part-time lecturers and therefore I was effectively in charge of the module. I have done research at University, and taught students for several years at various levels (undergraduate students of years 1, 2,3,4 and 5).
I have a PhD from KCL in London, and an MSc from QUB with Distinction. In my undergraduate degree (MPharm), I was ranked 1st in my class at UCL in London.
I deliver the lesson/tutorial in a tailored personalised way such that the student understands and participates (with a bit of fun) while developing their knowledge and skills. I have a lot of experience in academia, especially in teaching physiology and clinical pharmacy/ medical pharmacology patient cases (involving medicines, mechanisms of action, drug interactions, doses, etc.) to undergraduate students in long tutorials at University. The feedback received from my students was excellent.
I am pleased when I help someone learn a difficult topic.
