Welcome.
I gained a degree in Mathematics and Computer Science in 1976 and after several years working in the IT industry, I formally qualified as a Teacher in 2011 with a PGCE in teaching Mathematics.
I have two grown up children who have achieved A* in Mathematics and are now working in medicine and engineering.
My mission is to empower as many people to reach required standards in Mathematics ranging from primary to degree level.
A parent has provided the following feedback: " He has a large range of experience which shows from the ease of understanding and how quickly he can turn a struggling topic into an easy to learn subject."

Tutoring Experience

Since my qualification I worked for a number of years in Further Education Colleges in the area teaching Mathematics and then as a supply Teacher covering lessons in around 40 local Schools.

At the same time I started as a private Mathematics Tutor with students recommended from Agencies and word of mouth.
Over the years I have empowered around 10 students per year to achieve target grades in their Mathematics examinations.
These students attended the following State Schools, Private Schools, Colleges and Universities:

All Saints, Egglesciffe, St Patricks, Ian Ramsey, Conyers, Trinity College, Nunthorpe, Outwood Academies, Northfield.
Yarm and Teesside High School.
Prior Pursglove , Middlesbrough and Stockton Riverside Colleges.
Teesside and Open University.

Tutoring Approach

Student confidence is boosted in a structured manner suiting each student, I set out to explain concepts for deeper understanding of Mathematics with practice examples, past papers and examination techniques.
