I obtained my higher education from the University of Oxford and did my D. Phil in chemical/medicinal sciences from the world renowned Chemical Research Laboratory of the University of Oxford in affiliation with St Peter's College 2005.

To continue in education and research I became postdoctoral associate for three years during which I published research and taught chemistry and maths at St Peter's College, Trinity College and University College Oxford.

I joined the Imperial College London, currently ranked top in the World University Rankings as a postdoctoral associate to research, publish and teach chemistry to the undergraduate students.

At the University of Reading I have been engaged in research and teaching on malaria related medicinal science.

Tutoring Experience

I have taught at the university undergraduate level at the University of Oxford, Imperial College London and the University of Reading. I have taught maths, physics, chemistry, biology A2, AS, GCSE and KS3 levels of all syllabi and boards. I have helped students towards entrance exams of all levels from Grammar schools, Independent schools and universities eg Reading Grammar School, Kendrick Grammar School, Eton College, University of Oxford, Imperial College, University of Bristol and more.
Many of my current students for one-to-one private tuition have been from London, Slough, Bracknell, Maidenhead, Basingstoke and of course Reading town. I have taught students from Reading Grammar, Kendrick Grammar, Eton College, Blue Coat, Westminster and many other schools.
Almost all of my students target A* and A grades in the exams and almost all of them achieve their targets.

Tutoring Approach

I teach in a reciprocate style. I first try to establish the what the student's requirements are and where their weak areas are. In most occasions students are very good and they want to learn and perform their best but they don't get the topics and subjects explained the way they can understand. Some students are very intelligent and they want to be challenged on maths and sciences or on exam style questions.
I give my students a thorough experience of situations. I give my students a 5-10 minutes tests almost all lessons to make sure they learned the last topic. This gives an idea if the explaining is making sense or teaching style need modifying.
I enthused my students by connecting the subjects to real life examples to tell them why they have to learn a topic, challenge them once they have learned the previous lesson and give them some challenging home work to stretch their critical thinking. We go over the different exercises and past papers to learn exam techniques to be fully aware and well-practiced on exams to come.
