I have just retired from teaching after 35 successful years. Having been a head of mathematics and a senior leader I think it is time to bow out gracefully. I love teaching and want to continue imparting knowledge to all prospective learners.
I have taught in all phases within education and am qualified to Masters Level. I have been, during my 35years service, a classroom practitioner, head of department, deputy head and an acting headteacher. I have enjoyed teaching Key Stage 2 to Key Stage 4.
I currently hold a Bed(Hons), MA in Education and a NPQH (National Professional Qualification in Headship).
In recent observations from experienced Senior Leaders and from OFSTED I have been rated Outstanding.
My teaching style is flexible and can be suited to the age, experience and ability of the pupils. In most cases my approach ensures that key concepts and skills are enhanced and that knowledge and understanding is embedded in each student I teach.
