About me
Hi, my name is Muhammad, i am the dedicated tutor that will help your child excel in STEM. As a passionate student with a strong background in Maths, Physics, and Computer Science, I am excited to help my students polish their skills and reach their full potential.
I am currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Computer Science at King’s College London and have excelled academically, achieving top grades in both GCSE and A-level exams.
Learnwise Tuition
I spent a summer at Learnwise Tuition tutoring A-level students going into year 13 and recently graduated GCSE students going into year 12. I used this opportunity to teach the difficult concepts that they would have to face later on giving them an edge in the classroom. This helped me better communicate the tougher concepts in maths and get hands on experience managing a classroom full of students.
Family tuition
On top of formal experience, I have successfully tutored multiple younger family members for their GCSE exams, helping them improve their grades from 5s to 7s and above.
Initial Assessment: In our first lesson, I focus on understanding the student’s current level and identifying areas where they need help. This will often involve me asking them to solve multiple questions spanning over many topics.
Student-Led Learning: Each session, I encourage students to bring questions or topics they find challenging. I guide them through problem-solving processes to build their understanding. I often provide visual proofs and explanations to topics that seem intimidating.
Supplementary Material: If the student has no specific concerns, I provide questions on topics where they need improvement or commonly challenging areas. For students who are excelling, I introduce new topics that they will encounter in the near future to keep them ahead.
Scheduling: I recommend two 1-hour sessions per week to maintain engagement without overwhelming the student.
I am a firm believer in the student-led model as it encourages the student to always be thinking about their weaknesses and allows us to tackle them early on. I take great pride in . My goal is to not only increase their grades but to force a habit of questioning and testing their weaknesses.
Preferred Exam Boards: Edexcel, AQA
