I’m a final year medical student at King’s, with experience in teaching in a variety of age groups and abilities.
I have over 2 years of experience in private tuition, for Sciences, Maths, and Medical school entry.
I have organised events for prospective medical students, and have practiced with them for interviews.
Firstly I like to get to know the student properly. To know their aspirations and motivations.
I gauge their level of understanding, and tailor my teaching around their learning style. I identify strengths in their knowledge, and plan my lessons around filling the gaps.
I will build rapport, and not set any homework initially. I try not to overwhelm my students as I get to know them. However as the student gains confidence in me and in themselves, I will increase the intensity accordingly.
The student will have my contact details, and will be able to drop me a message outside of teaching hours for any questions or support in their studies.
I do my best to be available for all my students, especially if they need reassurance or have any pressing topics they want to cover before their exam.
Please note that all in person lessons will be 2 hours minimum.
