Tutoring Experience

I am a great executor when it comes to teaching and helping
students through the academic learning ladder. My experience of 5 years in the teaching industry has equipped me with various teaching techniques in many
subjects and different levels of assessments.
- I can teach Maths, Chemistry and Physics from Pre school foundation to GCSE level including year 2, 6 and 9 SAT's.
- I have been teaching English to Preschoolers to A-level students. Exceptional preparation given for 11+ exams.
- I can assist students in preparation for AS and A Level Science and Maths exams.

Tutoring Approach

My tutoring approach is tailored to each individual student. I work one-on-one with them in determining their strengths, weaknesses, future opportunities, and threats to their basic academic skills. Throughout this process, we begin by establishing a strong base of support for the student to build upon, which includes connecting the student, parent, tutor, and teacher. I have a desire to create confident, independent learners who take pride in their studies. My approach to learning is, therefore, different from traditional methods of supplementary education.

Every pupil has unique needs; the tuition should work both in a practical sense and also create the best conditions for reaching the pupil's goals. For some students, time may be spent working on subjects they fully comprehend, so they could benefit from being pushed further ahead. In summary, one shoe doesn't usually fit all. I encourage students to bring in school or college work they may be struggling with so I can assist them in their areas of weakness and help their strengths grow further.

I begin with topics the students are most comfortable with, then progressively explore more challenging subject areas in an innovative manner that increases their eagerness to learn. I emphasize vital skills such as essay construction, logical thinking, and the effective use of numbers and graphs.

Ultimately, my goal is to nurture a love of learning in each student, fostering not only academic success but also the confidence and curiosity to tackle future challenges. By building a strong foundation of skills and encouraging independent thought, I aim to equip students with the tools they need to excel both inside and outside the classroom.
