My curiosity has driven my innovation, which has enabled me to complete two international placements

Tutoring Experience

I spent a year teaching English as a foreign language in at Jiujiang primary school in China.
I learnt the fundamental skills of classroom management and lesson planning during an extensive teacher training course in Beijing.
I taught class of 30 teenagers at a Summer camp in Beijing.
Created interactive lesson plans for 60+ students aged 8 to 12 at Jiujiang Primary School to help students feel less intimidated when learning a new language.
Delivered workshops to teachers, appraising them of UK teaching methods.

During my time in China I also privately tutored students that needed extra support.

Tutoring Approach

My sessions are very interactive. I tend to adapt my teaching style to suit the student(s) needs. I create an open and comfortable space where students can ask questions and challenge themselves.
