I am extremely tenacious. I have a bubbly personality. Prior to teaching I was airline cabin crew for three different airlines including two Middle East airlines which required me to live abroad. I have travelled the world and still do so with my family. I enjoy spending time with my family and seeking new adventures. I am very particular person and like to get things done as soon as I can. I’m not a last minute person. I am definitely organised.
I have been teaching in a mainstream school for nearly 18 years. I have had various roles within the school. I was class based in KS1 for many years. Then became a Reading Recovery teacher working with children who lacked early literacy skills. I then moved to KS2 and worked with children who needed a ‘push’ focusing on English and Maths. Now I’m currently a French teacher and teach core subjects around the school.
I have very high expectations from my pupils. I like the one to one focus as I know this works. I always work towards my pupil’s targets as the outcome will be success. I regularly asses my pupils so I can bridge the gaps.
