I am i current student at Newcastle university, doing politics and international relations at the undergraduate level. I left the sixth form with an A grade in politics and am very passionate about the subject. I myself am dyslexic, and so I understand some of the struggles that neurodiverse minds can experience in the regular school system and lesson structure which is something I would love to help students tackle.
In sixth form, I was a history tutor to high school students with special needs so I understand how to clearly present a structure for a lesson and articulate it in a way that the student can understand.
I prefer a methodical hands-on approach; visual learning is a skill I think makes the most out of our memory and attention span. Having physical and multimedia sources to work from opens up our minds for better content retention and application. as well as this, I have a multitude of different strategies available to aid both neurotypical and neurodiverse student learning.
