Hi I'm Nathan, an "Algebra Expert", maths graduate, tutor and maths examiner. I specialise in tutoring Secondary level maths.

My mission is to help parents save time and stress by increasing their child's maths confidence and exam results.

I have helped 100+ students over the past 10 years.

I’ve always had a passion for maths. In school I was top of the class and thoroughly enjoyed my maths degree. I now work as a successful maths tutor helping families with their children's education.

I am also an A-level maths examiner for one of the "big 3" UK exam boards. I am an expert in exam technique and teach this in my sessions.

Throughout my maths degree and career I have specialised in algebra, and work to help students who need an extra push to get the grade they deserve.

I've now spent over 10 years helping students improve their maths, finally getting the results they truly deserve.

I use all of my degree level knowledge, experience and techniques to help students get the results they want.

I take a calm approach and guide my students to build knowledge and confidence, whilst improving their grades. I have been the student who needs an extra push, and I have now successfully taken myself, and others, to the next level.

I can help you save time, effort and stress worrying about how to make your child improve in maths. I have limited one-to-one tutoring slots during the academic year.

Tutoring Experience

Over the past eight years I have tutored gaining experience in one-to-one, group and classroom settings. My experience includes:
- One-to-one maths tuition from primary to A-level
- Group maths, computer science, and English tuition
- Classroom music teaching

Everyone learns in a different way, I offer a flexible and enthusiastic approach to support all styles of learning.
I believe that building confidence is essential for success, not just with maths, but with all learning.
I use a range of techniques to cover the core principles of maths such as; direct teaching, guided practice, example questions, past papers, and exam techniques.
