Tutoring Experience

I have tutored students in Maths, Biology and Chemistry over the past 3 years as well as during my time at Sixth Form.

Tutoring Approach

My teaching approach is very friendly and supportive. I truly believe any student can become good at Maths!
First, I like to assess the baseline at which the student is at by knowing how they are doing in school, what their strengths and weaknesses are and their motivations. From there I build a solid teaching plan for the student to flourish in Maths.
For example, one of my students for example started off at a C/D level in year 9. By the time this student progressed to Year 11, they have achieved a solid Grade 8 in GCSE Maths (2019). They also became so much more confident in their ability throughout our teaching sessions, their approach to Maths changed completely and they now love the subject.
I am very flexible in my approach and lesson plans can be altered according to the students needs at the time(e.g. any mock exams coming up).
