I am an experienced Maths and Physics tutor, and have recently retired from teaching in a school in Leeds. With an honours degree in mathematics and a postgraduate degree in Astrophysics I have maintained my passions for these subjects over the years, and am familiar with the current UK wide A level examination syllabuses.

I am the author of an undergraduate text book "An Introduction to Mathematical Astrophysics" (ISBN 978-1-9999044-2-5)

Normally I tutor from my home address though I can sometimes travel a short distance. I find tutoring online less effective and only offer this in very exceptional cases.

Tutoring Experience

I have recently retired from teaching at a Leeds secondary school, and have previously worked in Suffolk and as a supply teacher. In addition I have taught post 16 education at UK colleges and for the University of Maryland. For the private tutoring I teach school age students and adults on a one to one basis.

Tutoring Approach

I create a friendly environment so the learner is at ease to ask questions and the tutoring is a two way process.
