Neville's Feedback

In only a few sessions my son has really seen the benefits of Neville’s instruction, even explaining to me last night with enthusiasm about moles in quantitative chemistry - something he’d never fully understood at school. Sadly, his explanation was lost on me!

Neville was very helpful to my daughter to prepare for her Chemistry and Biology IGCSE exams in which she achieved excellent results. Neville followed her lead helping with the areas where she needed help. Thank you very much!

Neville is a brilliant Chemistry tutor. He helped my daughter with A-Level Chemistry for 2 years and as a result, she got an A* which is amazing. Neville has been helping our 16 year old son with A level Chemistry for the past couple of months, and also with a brush up for his GCSE Physics retake. Neville was very helpful when it came to problems I didn't understand, and explained everything very clearly and concisely, couldn't ask for more.

My daughter was getting D grades in science and As in everything else. Neville was very patient, strategic and perceptive and helped her understand what she didn't, helped her gain confidence where she had none and guided her exam technique. She's ended up with two grade 8s in double science (A* in old money). Yes, my daughter had to do the learning and sit the exam, but she would never have got anywhere near it without Neville's support.

I was impressed by the way you came in and got straight on with with the tutoring, it's a shame that there wasn't time for you to come more often.

Neville is very friendly and easy to get along with. My daughter was a bit worried about having a maths tutor at first but now she looks forward to her sessions and feels it is really helpful. He is helping to build her confidence with maths and we are hoping this will be reflected in her end of term exam results. We are really pleased with our choice of tutor and I have to say it makes life easier that he comes to your house.

My daughter found the tutor excellent when he went through the topics that she didnt understand. He was very helpful and always made sure that my daughter understood everything before moving on to another topic. Neville has just starting tutoring our Son and already our Son is reaping the rewards. He has boosted his confidence by helping him plan and structure his revision. So far my 15 year old daughter has only had one tutorial session with Neville to help her with GCSE Chemistry/Physics, but her confidence has already been boosted and she is making good progress. Neville is friendly and reliable and is an excellent teacher.

Neville has just started tutoring my son for GCSE Maths. He was very clear with us about what he could provide and he has been punctual, professional and informative. My son says that he enjoys the one on one attention and that his understanding of certain topics is improving. Neville sends an email after every lesson recording what they have covered and how the session went. I am very pleased.

Neville is helping my son with AS chemistry. So far I cannot rate him highly enough. He is very professional and has a good rapport with my son. He took the time to assess and question my son before informing us of a plan of action to help my son reach his goal. He sends us a feedback email after every session which also lets us know what the next session will cover. I can highly recommend him.

Neville offered reassuring and helpful advise. He did not feel our son needed ongoing teaching support, and we did not therefore arrange ongoing tuition, but we would not hesitate to contact Neville again should Josh require extra help in the future.

(GCSE Physics and Chemistry) Neville boosted my son's confidence from the very first visit. Neville is patient, reassuring and very calm. He explains everything so well and my son now goes off for school assessments with a smile on his face rather than the usual dread.
