I am a fully qualified French and German teacher with almost a decade of teaching and tutoring experience. Having specialised in German literature at King's College, Cambridge, I undertook my French and German PGCE at the University of Oxford in 2010.

Tutoring Experience

I have been teaching for 9 years and currently run a German department in a secondary school, teaching beginners to A level. I've previously worked as an English language teaching assistant in Paris and Hessen, Germany.

Tutoring Approach

I provide a personalised tutoring experience that caters for the needs of each individual learner. I love grammar and believe that a solid core understanding as well as a variety of other language learning activities make for effective learning (role-play practice, dialogues, interactive card games, reading tasks etc.). With my breath of teaching experience up to and include Oxbridge level, I am able to support a wide range of learning styles and help people achieve their goals. I enjoy enabling learners overcome obstacles and make quick progress. Looking forward to hearing from you.
