I am an enthusiastic and driven primary school teacher with proven success in raising standards. I am dedicated to providing a creative, supportive, engaging and challenging educational environment in which children of all abilities can flourish and feel confident in taking risks in order to achieve their potential. I have high expectations of all children and encourage them to have high expectations of themselves. I am passionate about teaching and learning and enjoy the privilege of instilling such passion in others, while nurturing understanding of the empowerment and opportunity that education brings.

Tutoring Experience

I have broad experience throughout the primary age range with specialism in year six and KS2 SATs. Most of my tutoring is in Maths, English, Reading and SPaG (Spelling, Punctuation and Grammar). I also help learners of secondary age, who may have some gaps or catching up to do.

Tutoring Approach

My sessions are child-centred, fun and engaging; tailored to meet individual objectives, needs and learning styles. As well as teaching the chosen subject and skills, I encourage curiosity, critical thinking and a love of learning.
