My name is Nicole. I’ve several years of teaching experience across all levels. I am currently teaching a Primary 5 class, however have also taught Primary 7 as well as Primary 3, so have a vast knowledge on the current curriculum.
The last couple of years I have been in Primary 7, meaning I have lots of experience and knowledge in preparing primary aged children for High School.
More recently, I have been in a Primary 3 and Primary 5 class.
I have a strong understanding of phonics as well as reading strategies to aid children throughout their education journey. As well as this, I have experience in teaching mathematical concepts using physical resources and pictorial clues and using correct mastery terminology which reflects the national curriculum.
I am a kind and caring tutor and put each learner at the heart of my lessons. I feel it’s important to build up children’s confidence and I do this through ensuring all lessons are well planned and will meet your children’s needs.
Experience teaching in both first and second level.
Primary 7, Primary 3 and Primary 5.
It is important for children to learn through several techniques not just thought wrote learning. Therefore, my lessons will be fun and engaging by using different educational resources. Each lesson will consist of three main elements; teach, practice and apply. Firstly, teaching a new skill then practicing the new skill and then finally applying the new skill in a task independently
