Hey there, my name is Niluka!

I help people improve their English, especially their writing and speaking skills.

I also help people with their general business and communication skills, using my professional background.

I am a friendly, professional and polite female. I grew up and worked in London and have lots of tutoring experience in English.

I also have mentoring experience in Communications and Business.

Tutoring Experience

I am a graduate in English from The University of Oxford.

I also was previously a consultant in marketing and communications at KPMG.

I have my own public speaking business, HelpMePresent, which helps people speak better in English and become better at communicating in English.

I have over 5 years of experience tutoring and also experience mentoring people in communications and business.

I have worked with non-native speakers before and those who want to get better at their general communication skills.

Tutoring Approach

I believe that teaching should be fun and collaborative. In my sessions, you get to practice directly with me and improve from Day 1. This isn't just me teaching you theory - this is you practicing, improving your English and Communications skills and getting better!

I also encourage my students to ask as many questions as they want - there is no such thing as a silly question. I use the first session together to really understand my student, their goals, aims and anything they are specifically working towards. This means I can tailor the sessions accordingly.
