I am passionate about Maths, about teaching, and about enabling pupils to learn both enjoyably and effectively. I teach by providing learners with levels of challenge that suit their individual abilities and needs, and I do so in a way that engages and motivates them.
Tutoring Experience
I am a competent, capable and committed Maths Teacher & Lead Practitioner with twenty years of QTS experience in Secondary Education, including 15 years in a leadership capacity. Bringing a proven versatility to move effectively through the Key Stages, motivating and directing pupils while captivating interest and encouraging achievement. Highly responsive and resourceful with the flexibility to work with large groups with differing academic, psychological and social need.
Tutoring Approach
For me, inclusive education starts with the provision of stimulating and challenging learning activities, adequately differentiated to meet the different learning needs of the individual.
