I have found Odile to be a very good tutor. She is very friendly, warm and has lots of patience! Part of the class is spent chatting in French and although it seemed daunting at the start we were able to chat for the whole class in French. I found my listening skills improved vastly due to this as well as my speaking. There is home work each week which is great to keep on top of things between classes. I can highly recommend Odile.

Odile has been teaching my 4 year old daughter for a few months now and she’s been great.

Odile taught my son French since Y9, at that time his French grade was D/C. He just got his GCSE result this week, which was improved to A* (grade 8). I am very happy with my son's result and appreciate Odile's teaching. Odile is very patient to her student. She is methodical and cares about details. She was using websites to enrich the teaching materials to help my son increase interest in French. I highly recommend Odile to others like my son who is struggling with French.

I have started taking French lessons with Odile. I have been liking how she plans the lessons based on how much I already have learnt and how much I could recollect. She is quite pleasant and accommodative too.

I am a very mature student who didn't even do French at school. I have wanted to have French lessons for ages, but never had the courage to try. I eventually found Odile online and am so glad I did. I couldn't be happier and I am loving my learning journey. Odile is extremely patient and very thorough. She challenges me just enough to keep me on my toes without overwhelming me. I cannot recommend he highly enough.

Odile is very a very flexible tutor. Adapts the classes to your needs and levels. Very clear and always available to help. Very friendly but also professional.

Odile is a fantastic private tutor, and very adaptable to the specific needs of the person coming to learn - I'm teaching myself most of the grammar, structure and vocabulary etc. as a 3rd language, and come to Odile to practice speaking, listening and conversation. She was great at getting an idea of my level on the first lesson, and adjusting the speed and complexity of how she spoke accordingly so that it was challenging but manageable and encouraging. The sessions with her are very helpful to try and formulate ideas and express them, and she's also sent me some great material to help out such as links to French news channels and interesting things to read. Very good, highly recommended!

I thoroughly enjoy my weekly lessons with Odile. She was able to identify my language level from the first lesson and developed a learning plan based on this. She is kind, friendly and patient and has continued to provide encouragement throughout. I would highly recommend her to anybody looking to improve their French language skills.

Many thanks Odile for the lessons. They are fun and interesting, and we always have new things to talk about (and plenty of grammar to learn too!) The lessons are a great way for me, at my level, to talk in French, and listen to French being spoken too. You obviously have a lot of experience in teaching and that means you can correct me and bring in teaching points while we talk, which is a great way to learn i think. Thankyou!!

Odile is an excellent teacher. She has quickly determined which level of beginner we are and her lessons are always enjoyable, she creates an atmosphere where you want to learn more. I would highly recommend her for any level of student.

Odile is just the loveliest person and has been extremely patient and kind, yet persistent with our slightly reluctant 15 year old son. Odile's perseverance has paid off hugely and our son has now willingly asked for additional lessons during his very busy term time. A million Thank You's Odile!

Odile is excellent, she is very professional but warm and receptive to a complete novice, calm and clear sets achievable goals.

Odile is a lovely French tutor. She is calm and focused. She is helping my daughter with her gcse French. They work on specific aspects of the exams, but Odlie also makes sure that the basics of the language are understood, so my daughter can be confident in her French after the exam.

The lessons are fun and my daughter enjoys the lessons. All the communication between them whether spoken or written is in French.

As three mature students we have found Odile to be a very effective, experienced and enthusiastic French teacher who tailors her lessons to her students' level and understanding. I am sure that she would be an excellent teacher for students of any aged and level in the language and in our case prepares materials for lessons to challenge and encourage at the same time.
