My name is Olga and I have a daughter who is studying Politics and International Relations at The University of Kent.
My twin sister, daughter, cat and dog had to leave our home in Kyiv (The Ukraine) because of the war.
I'm now learning English to enable me to live in England and to teach maths.
Before the war, when I lived in Kyiv (The Ukraine), I had 16 students who I taught one to one, because I think it is better to to teach students individually.
The ages of my students ranged from nine to 18. I prepared them for their school exams which were equivalent to the British GCSE and A Level maths qualifications.
I like to teach in a fun and friendly way. My first lesson with any student, I make sure that I understand where there are any problems or misunderstandings. Often these problems are from not understanding maths ideas that have been taught in the past.
