I am a 23 year old graduate from the University of Exeter with First Class Honours and a Dean's Commendation. I am an incredibly forward and friendly person; it's important to me that I ensure that my students are 100% confident in everything that we go through before moving on to the next topic.
I am passionate about teaching the youth, whether it be in academics or sports. Maths has been one of my favourite and outstanding subjects throughout my whole school career. It has always been a subject that I love to learn about and teach others. At school, many fellow students would come to me in the boarding house to ask me questions related to maths and I would always love being able to answer them.
My academic journey:
‣ GCSE: Nine passes including English Language (A*), Maths (A*), and French (A*).
‣ A-Levels: Four passes including Maths (A) and French (B).
‣ University Bachelors: French and Arabic with Persian (First Class Honours).

Having had several private tutors in the past for my GCSEs and A-Levels, I have picked up many different styles and manners of teaching that can be adapted to all students individually. I believe that I have a teaching style that allows students to remember formulae and equations well.
Aside from maths tutoring, I am a qualified level 2 squash coach. I have taken several lessons (private and group) particularly with children from ages 4-16, however I have also taught adults. This allows my approach to be much more patient and gives me more experience when tutoring children in maths.
With my teaching approach, I ensure that the student fully understands what I have explained (whether it be a formula, equation, etc.) in detail and won't forget it. Even if it takes exploring multiple different avenues for them to understand, then this is what I have to do - the beauty of it is, they only need to understand one avenue in order to understand the question. Furthermore, being a slightly younger tutor, I believe that I am able to connect with the student on a different level and even that can make the subject so much easier and more fun to learn. The fact that I am still in education and in the process of taking exams allows me to understand and empathize with the situation of current school students.
