“I remember I used to hate maths and found it the most boring subject in the world. However, thanks to my teacher, I began to be more curious about the subject ... From then on, learning maths became easy and enjoyable.”
I recently completed 10 grade 9 GCSEs at Hampton Boy’s School so I know the challenges and pitfalls of preparing for exams. I can pass on top revision tips and strategies for 11+ and GCSE and simplify complex concepts in maths. Teachers often gloss over concepts without taking the time to check you understand them so I know it is my role to make sure you have a firm grasp on all topics including trigonometry, algebra, matrices, statistics and more.
I have recently completed 10 GCSEs of which are all grade 9 and I studied at Hampton Boy's School.
I have been tutoring professionally for 6 months so far but my passion for teaching goes much further back. I enjoy seeing my students make progress and understand each student has a different journey and learning needs.
I have a DBS registration and have experience working with children outside of tutoring including as a children's football referee in my local area.
In my early years at school, I used to hate maths and would be put into support sets to drill over the basic concepts. However, now, I enjoy the subject because I realise that maths is much more than what it was presented to be in the classroom. I have since made my way from the bottom set to the top set and I hope to help you do the same.
I create personalised and engaging lessons with the ability to relate to my students and create an environment that is fun and relaxed yet focused on learning and improving.
