I am a 24 year old newly qualified primary school teacher, with a love of guiding the next generation. I have always loved teaching in many forms, starting off as an assistant and teacher at my dance school from the age of 11, before finding a passion for tutoring in maths from the age of 17. This love of teaching lead me to undertake my teacher training and I am proud to now be commencing my career in this profession.
A particular interest and strength in maths has given me 7 years experience as a maths tutor from year 3 to GCSE level. After gaining a high A* at GCSE level myself, followed by an A Level in Maths (with statistics), I was asked to tutor for family friends and recommended through word of mouth to others, giving me such a wealth of experience before completing my teaching qualification. Now that I have a PCGE with QTS, I can offer more advanced services to suit the needs of my students.
I am caring, motivating and enthusiastic about what I do and want the best for your children. I am adaptable to what they need each week, but can also prepare set schemes of work to follow to cover all areas of the maths curriculum at the appropriate age for the student.
