Online Chemistry and Biology Tuition

I am both a doctor and Removed tutor, specialising in GCSE and A level Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics. I obtained my degree as a Presidential Scholar from Imperial College London, with a First Class and Dean's List honours (top 10% of the year). I have tutored over 30 families, providing mentorship as well as academic support, ranging from 11+/CE level to GCSE, IB and A-level. I have a strong interest in scientific academic research, having completed projects at Harvard Medical School and Tokyo Medical and Dentistry University. I also have a passion for global health and politics, having worked on projects in Taiwan, South Africa and Tanzania in the past. I look forward to helping you and your children in their academic and schooling needs.

  • Extensive tutoring of students from varying backgrounds for medical school applications, personal statements and AS level sciences (under the name of Imperial College London). Additionally, hosting workshops aimed at the same goal.

  • History of teaching Sexual and Reproductive Health at a junior school, high school and health clinic working for an international development charity in South Africa

Tutoring Approach

I begin every tutoring relationship with a consultation with the tutee (and parents if appropriate). This enables me to understand what the tutee hopes to gain from their tutoring experience and the time they are willing to commit to their learning. Furthermore, I will attempt to ascertain the purpose of the tutoring and as a consequence, the course I expect the sessions to take. I then will establish a schedule of sorts, depending on the tutee's need, to ensure my sessions are targeted. Finally, I will provide and expect constant feedback - to ensure I am helping the tutee reach their goals, in the most appropriate way possible.
