I'm Ortal,and an historian by training and passion, im also a mother of two boys. I studied for my undergraduate at the University of Birmingham, and my post graduate at UCL, Institute of Education, both times my primary discipline was in History.
My work life has always focused around young people; from leading expeditions in South America with World Challenge Expeditions to teaching in two outstanding comprehensive school in North London.
I am passionate about my subject and understand the pressures of education and hope to make it that bit easier for those that I work with.

Tutoring Experience

I have 17years teaching experience 10 of which was in a North London girls comprehensive school that repeatedly received outstanding OFSTEDs. In that time myself, and my department have also been awarded 'outstanding'.
The most recent 7 years have also been in North London, in a mixed comprehensive awarded OFSTED good
I have always taught EDEXCEL, but have some experience of AQA with private students

Tutoring Approach

I have been doing private tuition for 18 years, and am often able get my private students achieving least two grades above their predictions
