Having been an assistant head teacher and head of Maths in a Wolverhampton secondary school, I feel one to one tuition can have a massive impact on progress . I have also been doing one to one tuition for the past twenty years. One to one tuition helps students confidence and understand concepts which can sometime seem daunting in a classroom environment.
I have taught in a variety of schools and I am able to adapt my teaching to suit the needs to individuals.
Tutoring Experience
I have taught in many schools and led a core subject. I am familiar with content required for students to pass and achieve a high standard of results. I attend all exam board meetings which allows me to be up to date with the latest requirements for all three exam boards at GCSE.
Tutoring Approach
Having taught lots of students , I can adapt my teaching style to suit individual needs. Every student is different and I understand that they learn in a variety of ways. I believe preparation is key, and take pride in providing the best resources I can as an aid to learning.
