Hello, my name is Paweł. I see myself as curious, driven and disciplined. Others tell me I am creative, cheerful and motivating. We are all correct. I come from Poland and I am fluent in four other languages. Some of them I learnt from scratch by myself so I know what it takes to truly master a language. I have a university degree in English, have passed multiple language exams over the years and I teach students of all ages through many diverse methods. I have also had many years of experience of working as a certified interpreter/translator in the public sector, for the Police and court system. This is an environment where one word may change people's lives and only people with highest language skillset are accepted. I now find it very rewarding to translate this invaluable experience into my teaching.

I am a meticulous tutor who often tries to be fun and innovative at work, but only when it enhances the results. I use methods and materials which I have tested on myself, so the learning results are pretty much only limited to your motivation and effort. Each class / program is tailor-made for a particular student, depending on their goals and ambition. Tutoring Experience

I have over 10 years of experience of teaching all age groups (from teenagers up to pensioners), both on 1-to-1 and group basis. I teach Polish, English and Spanish, and provide language instruction in these languages as well. Classes include exam preparation, professional language knowledge for work, preparation for future translators/interpreters, etc.

Tutoring Approach

Quite informal and creative. I try to make every class fun and innovative by use of diverse methods and involving as many senses in language acquisition as possible. Obviously, I am guided in my approach by the personality and goals of the student - they are the focus of attention, not me, and the class is conducted in an atmosphere and style that suits them best.
