I am well qualified teacher with a wide range of experience teaching various subjects to adult learners.
I currently work part time in an NHS library where I assist students in finding resources for their MSc and PhD course work.
Lecturing/teaching in Higher Education - A level, politics, economics, history.
Basic English and maths to adult learners from many different backgrounds, including those that have come from abroad and do not have English as a first language.
I have worked as a driving instructor and workplace trainer.
I am offering relaxed informal sessions for adult learners. We can cover English language, conversation, reading, writing, basic maths and anything else you feel would be useful, for example CV preparation and job interview techniques. I always try to base my tuition around things that are of interest to the student. I offer a longer (90 minutes) first lesson (no extra charge) so we can get to know what is it you need and plan future sessions.
As an introductory offer lessons will be £15.00 per hour if you come to me or £20.00 if I come to you.
