Peter

I am a retired maths and statistics graduate. I have been a computer programmer in local government for twelve years and a statistician working in the civil service and more recently in higher education for twenty six years. I am an active member of a church which serves the local community. My other main interest is classical music.

Tutoring Experience

I have thirty-two years experience of private tutoring in maths for GCSE, A-Level and in statistics for A-Level and university courses. I have City & Guilds Tutoring Certificates for adult numeracy and literacy.

Tutoring Approach

I work closely with my tutees using up-to-date worksheets and text books. Almost all of my tutees say that they have gain in confidence and benefit from my good knowledge.

I often review my methods and look for tips from other teachers.
