Pierina has been absolutely exceptional in all aspects of tutoring our daughter. She always ensured our daughter was fully engaged and whenever she felt any disengagement, she would quickly know how to turn it around.

Pierina always tried to incorporate an element of 'fun' into the sessions and our daughter loved attending them.

Overall the progress our daughter made was outstanding. After 2 years of tuition, she managed to jump up from being below average, to a level which in some cases, was 3-5 academic years ahead.

We have already recommended Pierina to friends and family, some of who have enrolled their child and are seeing a similar level of success. We will be forever grateful for everything Pierina did for our daughter and would recommended her to anyone in a heartbeat.

Pierina came very prepared for the lesson, however, our son found the approach quite difficult and needed something more varied and game like.

Pierina was unable to read our son's cues and adjust to suit his learning style, and the lesson did not end positively.

Most of the lesson went so so well, it's a real shame or went wrong in the last 15 minutes. I feel if I had been made aware of your son's difficulty with consequences, or been given a heads up on how to manage his behaviour when agitated, things would have gone better. I at no point stated being knowledgeable in ADHD nor ASD so I could not have known that the usual star chart system I use would cause disruption.
Either way, thanks to the experience with your child I have learned a few things about ADHD and ASD, and will ensure to request more information from families in future, to ensure things go better.

Pierina is simply awesome. Made such a huge difference to my daughter’s math skills and confidence. Pierina has a great mannerism, she is patient, understanding and explains things very simply. She is also very empathetic, understanding the micro signals incredibly well on what level the student is at and what needs to be improved. She also uses the latest technology in terms of apps and practice tools. I really could not recommend her highly enough!

I'm so pleased you were happy with my sessions and that your daughter got into her preferred school. I hope to see her again in the future. She was a true joy to teach!

Pierina was simply fantastic. Our two girls- 7 and 10- had to be kept up to pace with their US curriculum during our four month stay in london. Pierina was well ahead of each lesson with materials and always came with a positive and dynamic attitude (despite occasionally difficult children!). I would thoroughly recommend her for any family. Our kids got ahead of everyone else in their class and Pierina was also able to help with one of our children’s dyslexia. We love her and wish her all the best.

Pierina is the most friendly and professional tutor we have come across. She immediately developed a great rapport with our two boys, and quickly understood how she needed to change her style to accommodate their different learning patterns and personalities. Pierina is always well prepared and has very clear objectives for each lesson as part of an overall programme that is bespoke to each of my sons. She is very well qualified, including special needs, and is able to make complex or confusing things simple. I was sceptical about the effectiveness of online tutoring but Pierina is able to maintain the strong personal connection and control through her online tools which means we have more flexibility to change between in person and online sessions. Most importantly Pierina is incredibly friendly and lovey to deal with. Couldn’t recommend her more highly.
