I am a Primary School Teacher and I have always loved working with kids and creating a safe space for them to grow and work to their best potential.
I love drama, English, history and art. I travel a lot and love being in nature and learning about wildlife. I have worked for a charity in Malawi, toured with a musician as his PA and been a full time childminder in my past.
With over 6 years experience teaching Years 5 and 6 and a year teaching in all years across the school (from Year 2 - 6), I have a good understanding of the curriculum throughout a school journey. I have also tutored a number of children this year (from year 4 - 6), some for entrance exam practice and others to nurture or develop confidence in maths, English or reading comprehension. I have also helped children prepare for SATs.
I have a nurturing and encouraging style of teaching and build strong relationships with my students quickly. I have developed an engaging and interactive style of teaching online and I have access to many tailored resources if practicing for specific entrance exams. I also have a large and diverse bank of materials for general support across the key subjects of Primary education.
