Quddoosia

My name is Quddoosia Bashir and I am currently in University studying Accounting and Finance. My main interest is Maths and it was my favourite subject when I was in high school and in College.

Tutoring Experience

I have worked at Westborough High School for work experience, teaching Mathematics as a teacher assistant. It was an eye opening experience understanding different students and seeing various teaching styles. It made me realise that students were more comfortable in my presence as a new 'teacher' if I displayed confidence in what I was helping them in.

Tutoring Approach

My approach to teaching is to ensure I am well educated in the topic myself so I can explain it in great detail to someone who does not understand it as well as me. I would demonstrate examples using a visual presentation because I find that that most students are visual learners but if not I can also help in any other way they ask me to.
