Hi, I'm Rachel! I'm 21 years old, and a full-time university student, studying French and German at BA level.

I've been learning French and German since secondary school (aged 12/13 years), and also recently completed a year abroad for my university degree, studying in Rennes, France, for 4 months and working in Berlin, Germany, for 5 months. I have GCSEs and A-levels in German and French, and still have my resources from then.

I've loved French and German from the moment I started learning them, and hope to share that passion with others.

Tutoring Experience

During secondary school and sixth form, I helped out a lot in the languages department, where I acted as a teaching assistant, helping the students to better their understanding of French and German, and provided support to the teachers of the classes I helped with.

Tutoring Approach

I can adapt to whatever a tutee needs, whether it be starting from the beginning, or consolidating learning from classes. I can also adapt to whatever the tutee feels would be better for them to learn the language. I hope to have a relaxed and adaptable teaching style to help tutees the best I can.

I'm willing to teach on Zoom, Skype, or, in certain circumstances, WhatsApp.
