I am a highly motivated Psychology graduate, having achieved a First-Class Honours in my BSc (Hons) degree. I have also recently completed my Master’s degree in Developmental and Educational Psychology at UCL. With excellent communication and organisational skills gained through various volunteering opportunities and employment, I am now a postgraduate committed to building a career in an educational setting. I am enthusiastic about making a meaningful impact on young individuals' lives, bringing a friendly and cooperative attitude to learning.
I have over five years of experience working in schools, including my current role as a Special Educational Needs (SEN) teacher in a secondary school. This role has equipped me with the ability to adapt teaching strategies to suit diverse learning needs. My background in Psychology has enhanced my understanding of student behaviour and learning processes, enabling me to provide personalised support. Additionally, I have substantial experience assisting students in preparing for exams, building confidence, and teaching challenging content areas.
My teaching approach is student-centered and highly adaptable. I focus on improving exam techniques by working through past papers and identifying areas of improvement. I am happy to teach specific content and break down complex concepts. I aim to create an engaging learning environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions and develop their skills, whilst it is also enjoyable.
