I love helping students and seeing them improve confidence and achieve their goals. Since completing my PGCE teacher qualification I have tutored many students over the last 30 years. Outside of tutoring I love spending time with my two children and travel with my wife. My main interests are tennis, badminton and cycling. Good Nutrition, well-being and keeping a good work-life balance are important to me. I try and make my tutorial sessions varied, engaging and creative so students enjoy learning.
I am an experienced Qualified Teacher having tutored hundreds of students over the last 30 years. I provide a friendly, encouraging and sympathetic approach giving students the confidence to help them succeed. I use simple, step by step teaching methods so you can easily gain a good understanding and grasp of the topics. I set up and ran a tutorial centre in Leicester for over 25 years (Belgrave Tutorial Centre). I have also written Maths and English educational textbooks for ages 5-16. More recently I taught and delivered functional Maths skills courses at Milton Keynes College. Currently I am tutoring 3 students on a 1:1 basis. They are happy for you to contact them for references.
