I’m a Biomedical Science student at Leeds Beckett University with a strong academic background in Maths, English, and Science. I’m passionate about helping younger learners build confidence and understanding in subjects that can often feel overwhelming. I aim to create a supportive and friendly learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing their skills.
I have experience teaching children aged 7–16, including volunteering at a mosque where I taught Arabic for 7 weeks and helping during sixth form open days. I also regularly assist younger students with Maths and English, drawing from my own strong GCSE results (grades 7–8 in core subjects). I’m confident teaching KS1, KS2, and early GCSE content in a clear, structured way.
I personalise each lesson to the student’s pace and learning style as no two students are the same. I use interactive tools, real-world examples, and step-by-step explanations to break down harder topics. My goal is to make learning enjoyable and to help students build not just knowledge, but confidence and independent learning skills, while ensuring they are well prepared for exams.
