As a medical student at the University of Manchester, I understand the challenges of preparing for and taking exams. As an A* student, I would like to share my knowledge and experience with younger students to employ effective strategies for boosting grades and confidence. I have strong communication and organisational skills which enable me to quickly build a rapport. I am very patient and take the time to complete every task to the best possible standard.

Tutoring Experience

I have tutored weekly from primary to college level for 4 years, working one-to-one with students of different backgrounds and successfully improving their grades. I have also successfully created a programme aimed at sixth-form students to help with applying to medical and dental schools. This included help with understanding the UCAT as well as an interview workshop.

Tutoring Approach

I am very flexible and take a student-centred approach to ensure each session is appropriately tailored to their needs. I take time to understand each student's individual learning style and adapt my teaching to suit them. It is essential to understand the basics of every concept so I always start from the very beginning, building on each topic with students to ensure they have a complete understanding. I constantly self-assess allowing me to provide the best teaching possible and welcome any feedback.
