Hello! I’m Rebecca. I live in the Lake District with my partner and young son. When not teaching, we love to get outside and walk with the family dog, Ruby, go out for a coffee and cake, and spend time with our family and friends.
I play netball for a local team and I attempt a round of golf every now and then.
I’ve been teaching now for 10 years and have taught all years in KS3 through to KS5. I focus mainly on GCSE and A level groups alongside being an Assistanf Headteacher with an overview of pastoral care at my school. I am an examiner for AQA and have been for 8 years. This has given me valuable insight as to how best to upskill students for exams.
I am friendly and reliable and my experience of teaching students of varying abilities means I can adapt my teaching style to the individual student. I have a range of resources which can be shared following lessons including exam technique resources and revision material to complement each lesson. I have resources available for learners with SEND and for learnings who are higher prior attainders.
