I would 100% recommend Rebecca to anyone looking for an English tutor. Throughout the year that Rebecca was tutoring me, she was always very accommodating to my needs and more than happy to help in anyway she could. While Rebecca is extremely knowledgeable, she is also super lovely and always made me feel very welcomed and comfortable during lessons :)

Rebecca tutored my daughter during her final A-Level year. She was a truly wonderful tutor providing support on all aspects of the English literature course. Rebecca tutors my daughter in Year 8 for English. She is a lovely kind person but also an excellent teacher and tutor. My daughter's English grades have improved enormously since we started working with Rebecca. Her confidence has grown, she enjoys her lessons with Rebecca, she looks forward to them in fact. Her knowledge and interest in English has expanded, Rebecca makes even the traditional English school texts (Shakespeare, poetry) seem interesting and manageable for a teenager. I am currently studying five Shakespeare texts with Rebecca via online lessons (at undergraduate level) in preparation for an unseen exam. Our lessons cover a great deal of content within the hour and we have been doing close analysis of Shakespeare's craft. I believe that Rebecca is not only extremely knowledgable in this high-level subject matter but also a very responsive and professional tutor. She is dedicated to actually helping you during what can be a stressful time. Rebecca takes care to modify lessons around your specific assessment criteria and produced a lesson plan after our first meeting. I would recommend her without hesitation.

Rebecca assisted my Daughter for several months in the run up to her GCSE English exams. My daughter went to Rebecca having completely lost her confidence in English and was lacking direction in her studies. Rebecca was a great tutor and gave her all the skills she needed to be able to do very well in her exams. My daughter has now got her love of English back and is studying it for A level.

It's so good to know that Sophie refound her love of English and I'm absolutely delighted that she's now studying English Literature at A-Level. I was also very pleased to hear about her fantastic GCSE results, especially when I remember how much she was lacking in confidence at our first lesson.

Rebecca is a great tutor and i'm so glad we had her tutor our son. It was only for a few months before his A2 English Lit exam but she gave him more confidence and much more enthusiasm for the subject. Also in this short space of time she managed to increase his predicted grade from a low C to him actually achieving a solid B. My only regret is that we didnt get a tutor sooner!!

It's been an absolute pleasure to tutor such a conscientious student. When I was told about the disastrous mock exam result, I knew we had our work cut out, but the final result just proves that determination, hard work and personal attention really can work wonders. Well done.
