I am a 23 year old, who is an enthusiastic, motivated individual devoted to education. I have always had a passion for making a difference to children and helping them to succeed.
I have 7 years experience as an established teaching assistant with experience of teaching classes. I have worked with children ranging from nursery to year 6 with a great understanding of the National Curriculum and SAT's. I teach children with a range of abilities including children with special educational needs. I have experience working with Early Years and I am full trained to teach basic skills including phonics. I am confident to teach children maths, english, reading, handwriting and spelling.
I am patient with difficult concepts. I have a unique teaching style and adapt my teaching to suit the needs of the pupil. I provide multiple ways of explaining concepts to ensure the best understanding.
My prime goal is to ensure pupils make progress as quickly as possible whilst also gaining confidence. I also ensure that my lessons are engaging whilst tailing the sessions to each individual.
