I spent the first years of my career as an award-winning researcher, specialising in the history of the Middle East and Africa. Over the past 12 years, however, I have been teaching a range of subjects to students from a variety of cultural and educational backgrounds - including those with SEN - and I love it.
By working hard with me, my students have gone on to achieve top marks in their GCSEs and A-Levels, successfully completed vocational certificates and diplomas, been accepted into world-class training programmes, and gained new confidence in their abilities. I am relentlessly optimistic about what people can achieve - and experience has shown me that you can be, too.
I am a patient and compassionate tutor. My approach is student-centred, so I tailor my teaching style to the needs of each individual learner. I use mixed-methods where possible, and endeavour to make each class fun and memorable.
